Who, me?

You can't see me right now, but I'm smiling so big my face hurts. Why the super-sized grin, you ask? Two reasons:

1) Vampire Diaries returns for a third season in two weeks. This is cause for celebration and completely blog-worthy. In fact, I might just do a video blog in honor of the season premiere. That's how excited I am. Does this make me obsessive? Absolutely.

Okay, reason number two....

2) Sophie & Carter has spent the last few days at the top of Amazon bestseller charts! #2 in Social Issues and #5 in Teen Love & Romance! SAY, WHAT???




Um...is that my book sitting two below Stephenie Meyer's Breaking Dawn??? SOMEBODY PINCH ME!!!

I am beyond shocked.

And so totally honored.

It's crazy to think my book is even worthy to be listed alongside authors such as Stephenie Meyer and Addison Moore.

It's also crazy that my little book is being read by so many people of all ages all over the world!

This whole thing is CRAZY!

I am really, truly blown away by...all of this! Sophie & Carter has been more successful than I ever thought--even in my wildest dreams! (And my dreams can get pretty wild.)

Thank you all SO very much for supporting me and encouraging me and reading my book. None of this would be possible without you! My readers rock!!!!

    This is a little (or A LOT) late, but congrats! I'm so glad everything is going so well for you! :)
    I don't know if you remember me, but I talked to you on Twitter a while ago and you said that you would forward an email to your publisher about sending me a review copy of Sophie and Carter. So thank you for that! :) I'm still waiting (and dying!) for it to get here, but still. I must wait, and that will only make me love it more when it gets here! :)
    And while I'm at it, I have a question, if I may ask?
    What is your policy on giving interviews? Does the blog in question have to have a certain amount of followers or be very well known? Because I am still starting out my blog, (only 100 followers, but they make up for the number in awesomeness!)but I would LOVE to interview you on there! I know you're probably super busy, and I completely understand if you can't do an interview, but if you can find the time, I would love to have you on my blog sometime. :)

    @Angel Snyder Hi Angel! :) YES, I remember you :) I'm sorry you haven't received a review copy yet... :( I think my publisher is printing a new edition (one that includes chapter one of my next book) so they're probably waiting until the first shipment comes in to send you an updated version. :) (So, you'll probably be the FIRST blogger to get a copy of the new edition). I apologize for the delay...I sent your information to them on 9/20...but I'll resend it and remind them to keep you on the top of the list. :) Thanks for letting me know you haven't received your copy yet! :) Also, I LOVE GIVING INTERVIEWS!     Okay, thank you so much! I'm sorry--I didn't mean to sound like I was rushing you--I'm just in a crazy excited mood for Sophie and Carter! :)
    I think I'll just give in and buy it (because I'm cool like that and can download it onto my very cool Kindle reading App on my iPhone) and then have a giveaway on my blog. :)
    But that's awesome that I'll probably be the first blogger to get the new edition! :) I can't wait! :)
